From Red Lake down to Red Wing, every family deserves free, high-quality childcare close to home, and every early educator should be paid and respected as the professionals they are.
But right now Minnesota families can't afford childcare. People are being priced out of parenthood. Childcare centers are closing all over the state. Early educators are underpaid and leaving the field. Meanwhile the ultra-rich keep getting richer.
Another way is possible…
While the federal government hands out tax breaks for billionaires, Minnesota can choose a different path. By making the wealthiest corporations and Minnesotans pay what they owe, we can build a universal childcare system that works for all of us.
